About The GC Foundation
The GC Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) Training and Education Non-profit. Established in 2022, it was founded to create access to food safety and nutrition education for young children and youth. The foundation was started by a dedicated team of kitchen workers, teachers, parents, and food lovers who are passionate about building connection and community through food and learning.
Our Mission
The GC Foundation brings nutritious, locally sourced meals to children in schools and beyond. By partnering with local schools, we aim to serve balanced, globally inspired meals that introduce children to fresh, colorful ingredients. These meals are designed to help picky eaters overcome food aversions and encourage a sense of adventure in trying new cuisines.

Youth Empowerment programs
The GC Foundation provides transformative internships for disadvantaged, disabled, and LGBTQIA youth, equipping them with:
-
Practical, on-the-job training in the food and hospitality industry
-
Comprehensive resume-building guidance
-
Access to affordable ServSafe training, dedicated study groups, and exam scholarships
These initiatives empower participants to earn a ServSafe Manager certification, opening doors to higher-paying roles in the restaurant and hospitality sectors and providing them with valuable skills for lifelong success.
The program also fosters self-confidence, leadership, and teamwork, creativity, and indolence while helping participants navigate the professional world with competence and resilience.
Many graduates of our programs go on to secure meaningful employment, at higher or management level jobs, creating brighter futures for themselves.
